H J Wiens, MD
H. Jake Wiens is a native of Oregon. He graduated from Linfield College in 1972 cum laude with Psychology Departmental Honors. He received his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1979. He completed his Family Practice Residency in Orange County, California in 1982 and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice one year later.
Dr. Wiens has served at the medical needs of the people of the Southeast Valley since 1982. In addition to maintaining a busy medical practice he has served at various times as a preceptor for the Good Samaritan Family Practice Residency Program, Medical Director of Chandler Health Care Center, and Medical Director of Hospice Family Care.
Dr. Wiens is married. He has 6 children and 8 grandchildren. He is an avid bicyclist, book collector, and automobile enthusiast.
