Appointment Policies
Because of time constraints, please be respectful of your allotted appointment. In order to give each of your medical concerns the attention it requires for quality care, please respect that each medical appointment can accommodate only 1-2 medical issues.
If for any reason you are not able to make your scheduled appointment, we require 24 hours notification. This will allow us to fill your appointment slot with someone who may need care urgently. Otherwise you are considered a "no-show" and will be billed $25 for this missed visit. We make every effort to provide courtesy email and test reminders 1 day prior to your appointment to cancel without penalty and arrive timely for your appointment.
We realize things do come up and will take this into account individually, but wasted appointment slots hurt other patients as well as the practice. Please understand the need for this policy.


Access to Care
We will care for patients regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion. We are able to see most patients on the same day or within 24 hours of requesting an acute health issue, however, we are not an urgent care or walk-in clinic.
Some urgent or emergency conditions may need to be referred to an Urgent Care facility or the Emergency Department. After hours medical emergencies are handled by phone by one of our on-call providers. You may access them after hours by calling our answering service at 602-667-4414. You will not be diagnosed and treated over the phone but a provider will assist in determining if your concerns are able to wait until the next day to be evaluated in our office or if you are best evaluated immediately in the emergency department. This service is for medical emergencies only (not for prescription refills or non-emergent medical conditions). If your concern could have been handled appropriately during regular business hours you may be billed accordingly.
